An Experience.

We didn’t create this to offer another tour —

we built it to give people the most personal, powerful way to experience Oslo.

Frequently asked questions

  • Your booking includes a guided running experience led by experienced running coaches and local guides who know Oslo inside and out.

You’ll follow a carefully curated 10 km route that blends the city’s most iconic landmarks — like the Royal Palace, City Hall, and Vigeland Park — with hidden gems, quiet streets, and local favorites most tourists never find.

This is a route designed not just to show you Oslo — but to let you feel it.

You’ll also receive a digital group photo from the run to remember the experience.

Optional add-ons such as a hydration belt, YT sports drink, and nut-free energy bar are available for an additional cost to keep you fueled and focused.

  • We recommend wearing comfortable running shoes and athletic clothing suited to the weather.

Oslo’s conditions can shift quickly, so dressing in layers is often a smart choice — especially in spring, autumn, or cooler summer mornings.

You’ll be running approximately 10 km at an easy pace, so wear something you feel good moving in.

If you’re not renting a hydration belt, we highly recommend bringing a full water bottle. Staying hydrated is important, even in mild temperatures.

Many runners also like to bring a small phone or camera to capture some of the incredible sights along the way — just make sure it’s packed securely so it won’t bounce during the run.

If you’re unsure about what to wear or bring, feel free to contact us in advance — we’re happy to advise, and we may even be able to assist you in getting hold of suitable gear. Your comfort and safety are our priority.

  • Yes — this experience includes two planned breaks during the 10 km route.

The first break happens around the halfway point at Vigeland Sculpture Park, one of Oslo’s most iconic locations. Here, we take a 10-minute pause, giving you time to stretch, hydrate, take photos, and enjoy the atmosphere among over 200 sculptures in beautifully landscaped surroundings.

The second break comes later at Telthusbakken, a charming historic hill lined with colorful wooden houses and views over the city. We pause here for another 10 minutes, giving you a chance to catch your breath, sip some water, and take in the peaceful scenery before the final leg of the run.

Both stops are handpicked for their beauty, serenity, and sense of place — and they give the experience a natural rhythm that balances movement with meaning. Whether you want to hydrate, take pictures, or simply pause and breathe it all in, these breaks are part of what makes this run more than just exercise — it’s a chance to truly experience Oslo.

  • We run in most weather conditions, including rain, wind, and colder temperatures — Oslo has its own charm in all seasons, and we believe the experience is just as memorable in misty weather as it is in the sun.

That said, your safety always comes first. In the rare case of extreme weather (such as heavy storms, icy conditions, or dangerous winds), we reserve the right to cancel the tour.

This is clearly stated in our booking terms and conditions.

If that ever happens, you’ll receive a full refund or the option to rebook at a later date.

That said — it’s worth noting that we’ve never had to cancel a tour due to weather.

Just dress appropriately, and we’ll take care of the rest.

  • Yes — we accept last-minute bookings up to 15 minutes before departure, which makes this experience perfect for spontaneous travelers or those who decide to run on the same day.

However, if you book less than 1 hour before the tour starts, we cannot guarantee the availability of optional extras like hydration belts, YT sports drinks, or energy bars. These items require a bit of prep time, and we prioritize quality over quantity.

If you’re planning to add extras, we highly recommend booking at least 1–2 hours in advance to give us time to have everything ready for you at the meeting point.

Regardless of when you book, we’ll always do our best to welcome you warmly and ensure a great experience — but early bookings help us go the extra mile.

  • This is a guided running experience, not a traditional spoken tour.

The focus is on the route itself — designed to take you past Oslo’s most iconic sights, historic streets, and local corners that reveal the city’s character as you move.

You'll be led by experienced local runners who guide the pace, handle the route, and point out the major landmarks along the way — from the Royal Palace to Vigeland Park and hidden residential streets in between.

It’s a chance to take in Oslo with your own eyes, not through someone else’s script.

  • All tours start and end at Rådhusplassen (Oslo City Hall Square) — a central and easy-to-find location right by the Oslo waterfront.

The square is within walking distance of most central hotels and easily accessible by public transport:

    • Tram 12 stops at Kontraskjæret (2 min walk)

    • Bus lines 31, 37, and 81 stop at Nationaltheatret (4–5 min walk)

    • Train or metro: Take any line to Nationaltheatret Station, then walk 5 minutes

Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the scheduled start time so we can check you in, give a short briefing, and start the run on time.

Late arrivals may miss the group and won’t be eligible for a refund.

  • Not very!

Our pace is easy and conversational, and we take two longer 10 min breaks.

If you can run 10 km at a relaxed pace, you’ll be absolutely fine.

This is not a race — it’s an experience.
